Job summary

Core Scientific is seeking a Mechanical Journeyman to perform journey-level mechanical duties in maintenance and repair of HVAC, Hydronic, plumbing, and related systems at our data center facilities. The role requires completing an apprenticeship and working independently with minimal supervision.

The candidate should bring experience with cooling systems, electrical components, safety practices, and a proactive, team-based approach.

Qualifications

• Formal vocational school training in the fundamentals of the trade.

Responsibilities

• Break-fix of Electro-mechanical systems (HVAC, Hydronics, Appliances, Rollup doors, dock locks, air compressors).
• Perform spill and leak detection inspections and repairs as needed.
• PMs on HVAC and Hydronic systems (Pumps, Strainers, Cooling Towers).
• Site maintenance/repair of plumbing and gas valves.
• Maintain equipment status and documentation.
