Core Scientific is seeking a Mechanical Journeyman to perform journey-level mechanical duties in maintenance and repair of HVAC, Hydronic, plumbing, and related systems at our data center facilities. The role requires completing an apprenticeship and working independently with minimal supervision.

The Mechanical Journeyman is a skilled tradesperson who has completed an apprenticeship and is fully qualified to work independently in the mechanical trades involving one or more of the following: heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, piping, or mechanical systems. The Journeyman will be responsible for performing journey-level mechanical duties in the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of gasoline, diesel, battery, and electric equipment.

This job operates in a data center, office, and shop environment. This role routinely uses standard maintenance equipment, including ladders, scissor lifts, forklifts, power tools, and voltmeters.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to hot and cold environments. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, and lift up to 50 pounds.
This is a full-time, onsite position. General hours and days of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some nights and weekends may be required.
