Job summary

RTX is seeking a Mechanical Integrated Product Team Lead, Associate Director, for the Strategic Strike portfolio in Tucson, AZ. You will oversee mechanical attributes of the weapon system, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and ensure design, integration, and verification meet first-time quality.

This onsite role requires an active Top Secret DoD clearance and leadership of multidisciplinary teams through development to production, while coordinating with customers and suppliers to drive

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 12+ years of experience.
Experience in mechanical development, integration, and qualification.
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain program access.

Responsibilities

Develop, update and improve technical documentation for development and production efforts.
Support Design and System Verification testing/Data collection.
Support system performance analysis.
Oversee modeling of the system using CREO.
Participate in Failure Investigations.
Mentor earlier in career engineers.
Brief the mechanical development strategy for the program to customers and RTX senior leadership.
