Job summary

Performance Contracting Group is seeking a Mechanical Insulation Trade Coordinator for its Kansas City operations in Lenexa, KS. This role leads crews, develops training plans, and partners with branch leadership on safety and quality initiatives.

The position requires 5+ years running commercial projects, Procore expertise, and strong communication skills. Local candidates are preferred, with a focus on developing future leaders within PCI’s workforce.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional work experience running crews on commercial projects.
• Procore proficiency and strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to read and understand specifications and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Participate in branch strategy discussions with branch leadership.
• Establish goals, measurables and accountabilities.
• Participate in PCI’s safety program with an emphasis on crew training.
• Attend all Construction Department meetings and trainings.
• Collaborate with the branch Superintendent to improve crew processes.
• Establish training plans by individual and tenure; phase as needed.
• Identify future Leads from the field and develop leadership.
• Build a healthy apprentice to journeyman mix.
• Establish a mentorship program to promote best practices.
• Review Labor Control weekly with crew leads.
• Ensure accurate time reporting as a Union Hourly position.
• Maintain OSHA 30 and other required certifications.
• Participate in Foreman Supplemental Bonus evaluations.
• Focus on quality assurance to meet plans and specs.
