Job summary

U.S. Upfitters a division of Driverge Vehicle Innovations in District Heights, MD, is seeking a Mechanical Installer to assemble and install shelving, ladder racks, and other work truck accessories. You will prepare all components per work orders and maintain a safe, organized work area.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with ASE certification a plus and prior mechanical tool experience. Background checks apply; regular hours support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Vocational school a plus.
• ASE Certification is a plus.
• Previous mechanical work experience using hand tools, power tools and pneumatic tools.
• Candidates must successfully complete criminal and submit to a motor vehicle background check.

Responsibilities

• Installation of shelving, truck ladder racks, truck boxes, and other work truck accessories.
• Assemble all product prior to install, per the individual work order
• Maintain a clean, safe and well-organized work bay to facilitate efficient installations
• Adhere to established safety and quality control production standards
• Complete other duties as assigned.
