Job summary

U.S. Upfitters a division of Driverge Vehicle Innovations is seeking a Part-Time Driver in District Heights, MD to transport vehicles locally and to dealerships. Regular hours and home time are emphasized.

Responsibilities include delivering vehicles safely, inspecting for damage, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with staff. Applicants should have a high school diploma, a valid license, clean driving record, and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Solid verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of area roads and surrounding counties.
• Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Candidates must successfully complete criminal and periodic motor vehicle background checks.

Responsibilities

• Transport customer vehicles locally and as needed, following policy and traffic laws.
• Deliver vehicles to destination in a safe and courteous manner.
• Work with other drivers and staff as a team.
• Review vehicle documentation for accuracy.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and completeness.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

This position is responsible for installation of Transport light duty, commercial trucks and vans to and from our shop to dealerships and customers. .
