Job summary

The City of Novi seeks a Mechanical Inspector to perform inspections and plan reviews of mechanical and plumbing installations, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations. You will interact with contractors, builders, and residents to uphold Novi's high standards.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, a valid Michigan driver’s license, and 10+ years in the field, with Act 407 registration and plan reviewer credentials preferred. MAPe contract and city vehicle support are noted.

Salary: $80,017.63 per year Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
