Job summary

Methuen Construction is seeking a Mechanical Foreman to safely manage tradespeople, equipment, and material procurement on mechanical and piping installs. The role emphasizes mentoring the next generation of professionals and ensuring project safety and quality on site.

The candidate will oversee installation of mechanical systems, read drawings, and enforce safety standards for the crew and other onsite personnel. Requires 5+ years of industrial construction experience and applicable licenses.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years industrial construction experience.
• Current licenses applicable to the trade.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hydraulic equipment operation and/or hoisting licenses desirable.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently manages tradespeople, equipment, and materials.
• Mentors teammates and reports to the Superintendent.
• Oversees installation of mechanical systems and rigging practices.
• Plans safety standards for the crew and others on site.
• Reads drawings and specifications for layout and installation.
