Job summary

Power Design is seeking a Mechanical Foreman to lead mechanical projects and ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. You’ll travel to our 16,000-square-foot training facility at HQ in St.

Petersburg, FL for customized training and use company iPads and smartphones to stay connected on site. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience supervising multimillion-dollar scopes, an active journeyman/master license preferred, and strong knowledge of IECC/ASHRAE standards.

Qualifications

Five years of experience managing a scope and multimillion-dollar projects.
Active journeyman or master license preferred.
Proficient knowledge of IECC, ICC, and ASHRAE standards; local codes; and construction safety requirements.
Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
Must have at least basic computer and writing skills.

Responsibilities

Work closely with project Superintendent and other trades, oversee the assigned scope, including management of material and manpower.
Accountable for enforcing and promoting high quality and safety standards.
Utilize technology such as company-provided iPad and smartphone to ensure timely completion and exceed customer expectations.
Supervise, mentor, and motivate employees working on designated scope.
