Job summary

The Tepa Companies are seeking a Mechanical Foreman to lead field crews in the construction of aboveground storage tanks and mechanical fuel systems. You will supervise workers, ensure equipment readiness, and interpret engineering drawings to meet project specs.

Responsibilities include safety meetings, adhering to welding standards, reading blueprints, and coordinating day‑to‑day tasks across CONUS/OCONUS sites. Travel and a valid license are required for this role.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years of pipe fitting experience.
  • Must pass SMAW/FCAW weld test in all positions.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and written instructions.
  • Must travel and have a valid driver’s license; TWIC and background check may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise crew and coordinate field tasks for aboveground storage tanks and mechanical fuel systems.
  • Inspect and maintain equipment; ensure safe operation and adherence to codes.
  • Read engineering drawings and follow welding specifications.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and monitor jobsite hazards.
  • Hanging iron, fitting pipe, and operating automatic welding equipment if qualified.
