Qualifications

About The Role

The Mechanical Foreman is accountable each day for delivering a high standard of quality, safety, and productivity to all of our job sites. The Mechanical Foreman is directly responsible for successful management and completion of our new construction projects throughout Florida.

What You'll Do

  1. Supervise, evaluate, and motivate, field project team members by promoting high quality and safety standards.
  2. Plan, organize, and direct production of contracted scope of work.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with customers, inspectors and other trades.
  4. Coordinate production and attend meetings with other trades as well as the general contractor to identify and resolve any conflicts while providing excellent customer service.
  5. Ensure all installations get completed on time, meet quality and mechanical code standards, and exceed customers’ satisfaction.
  6. Manage material and personnel requirements necessary to meet contracted project schedule.
  7. Ensure that all work performed is within the contract and that all additional work is not executed without authorization from the Project Superintendent.
  8. Complete and thorough knowledge of contract drawings and specification interpretation necessary to effectively carry out the work of this trade.
  9. Work closely with the Project Superintendent, Project Manager, and the applicable Trade Operations Manager to assist in the preparation, monitoring and update of schedules to ensure dates are met or improved upon.
  10. Adhere to AirSmith Pros’ standards of quality, safety and best practices.

What You'll Need

  1. At least 5 years of mechanical field supervisor experience managing crews and running medium to large mechanical construction projects.
  2. Must have EPA Section 608 Certification.
  3. NATE, LEED, and/or HVAC Excellence Certifications preferred.
  4. Extensive knowledge of National Electric Code.
  5. Valid driver's license.
  6. Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Spanish verbal and written communication skills are a plus.
  8. Extensive experience using Microsoft Office and/or Gmail.
  9. Desire to go beyond expectations.
