Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in mechanical trades with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven expertise in HVAC, piping and related mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical specs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to motivate a team.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and best practices.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

** We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Mechanical Foreman to lead and supervise mechanical teams on various plumbing and mechanical projects. This role involves ensuring the efficient and high-quality execution of mechanical installations, maintenance, and repairs, while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of mechanical technicians, plumbers, and pipefitters.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily mechanical work activities, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate and compliant installations.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of various mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and related equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and completed work to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications, codes, and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Order and manage materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and proper inventory control.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and team progress.
• Collaborate with project managers, other foremen, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
• Implement and enforce company safety policies and procedures on job sites.
• Identify and resolve potential issues and conflicts that may arise during project execution.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical trades, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Proven expertise in HVAC, piping, and other mechanical systems.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
• Thorough understanding of relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with mechanical work, including lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications for record-keeping and communication.
