Qualifications

This position will report to Nash Plumbing and Mechanical, LLC, a subsidiary of HB Global.Job Summary:**We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Mechanical Foreman to lead and supervise mechanical teams on various plumbing and mechanical projects. This role involves ensuring the efficient and high-quality execution of mechanical installations, maintenance, and repairs, while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.Job Responsibilities:*** Supervise, train, and mentor a team of mechanical technicians, plumbers, and pipefitters.* Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily mechanical work activities, ensuring optimal resource allocation.* Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate and compliant installations.* Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of various mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and related equipment.* Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and completed work to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications, codes, and safety regulations.* Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and provide technical guidance to the team.* Order and manage materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and proper inventory control.* Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and team progress.* Collaborate with project managers, other foremen, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.* Implement and enforce company safety policies and procedures on job sites.* Identify and resolve potential issues and conflicts that may arise during project execution.Job Qualifications:*** Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical trades, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.* Proven expertise in HVAC, piping, and other mechanical systems.* Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.* Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.* Thorough understanding of relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.* OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.* Ability to perform physical tasks associated with mechanical work, including lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions.* Proficiency in basic computer applications for record-keeping and communication.* Problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.
