Job summary

FORCE America, Inc is seeking a Mechanical Field Service Technician to support our Fort Dodge operations. This customer-facing role combines sales assistance with hands-on mechanical service of hydraulic systems and related equipment.

Responsibilities include on-site training, field issue resolution, product demonstrations, and travel to customer sites to implement optimal solutions. Join a people-owned company focused on performance, reliability, and strong customer partnerships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and mechanical experience.
• 2+ years in field service in a mechanical role with customer interaction.
• Strong mechanical ability to teach and coach others.
• Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Builds relationships with customers to provide technical support in an effort to build customer competency and confidence with product, team, and FORCE America.
• Facilitates hands-on individual or group product training for customer base.
• Develops training materials on product function, maintenance, and repair.
• Assists with technical needs development, resolutions, and making physical changes to products and applications in the field.
• Travels to customer sites to support needs to determine and/or implement most appropriate resolutions or installations.
• Assists in trade shows, customer visits, and product demonstrations as needed.
• Achieves company goals in assigned territory for revenue growth.
• Other duties as assigned.
