• Proficient with Microsoft Office and estimating programs.

Responsibilities

• Determine scope of work and contents of the project estimate.
• Partner with subcontractors and vendors to obtain and calculate specific costs of labor, equipment, and material to prepare estimates.
• Maintain positive relationships with engineers, architects, subcontractors, contractors, and vendors, suggesting adjustments as needed to the scope of projects.
• Research previous cost data to prepare bids and assist in the development of guidelines for future estimates.
• Analyze awarded and lost estimates to identify anomalies and opportunities for future improvement.
