Job summary

SEL Inc. in the United States is seeking a Technician I to contribute to the development of basic solutions under supervision, using defined engineering procedures.

You will learn to utilize job-specific components and maintain records of build/test results and time logs. The role requires a 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience, with demonstrated competence in CAD modeling, drawings, math, and technical writing.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Competence in CAD modeling, drawing interpretation and math fundamentals.
• Ability to document and communicate technically with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of basic solutions under supervision.
• Learn to use job-specific components and standards.
• Document prototype construction and test results; maintain records.
• Assemble and deliver basic solutions and related components.
• Provide project estimates for labor, materials, and schedule.
• Log time accurately according to procedures.
• Follow SEL Values and World Class Manufacturing practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
