Job summary

Western Farmers Electric Cooperative in Moore, Oklahoma invites a junior or senior Mechanical Engineering student to a summer internship (May–August). Under an engineer’s supervision you will assist in project tasks, review testing requirements, develop specifications, and help with short- and long-term project planning.

You will gather and analyze data for a NERC audit, build a reports database, assist with solar site work, and prepare a final presentation for Generation Staff.

Qualifications

• Must be a full-time student pursuing Mechanical Engineering
• Internship runs May–August during summer break
• Ability to work under supervision and manage multiple tasks
• Strong written and oral communication skills
