STV, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Specialist to design and coordinate HVAC systems for a range of building types in the Philadelphia area.

You will work under senior engineers and project managers, taking on increasing responsibility for design, coordination, and project delivery. The role involves assisting with design, calculations, drawings, and field coordination, with emphasis on collaboration and clear communication with clients and team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 2–5 years of experience in HVAC design for buildings.
• EIT certification preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, and HVAC load calculation software.
• Basic understanding of ASHRAE standards and building codes.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Overview

STV is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Specialist. The Mechanical HVAC Engineer II supports the design and coordination of HVAC systems for commercial, educational, healthcare, laboratory, and institutional buildings. Working under the guidance of senior engineers and project managers, this role takes on increasing responsibility for design, coordination, and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of HVAC and mechanical systems for building projects.

Compensation Range: $83,978.91 - $95,975.90
