Job summary

IMEG in Atlanta, GA is hiring a Mechanical Engineering New Graduate for Summer 2027. You’ll gain hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design while supporting project planning, documentation, and quality control.

You’ll work on housing, multifamily, commercial, and retail projects, growing your expertise from day one. The role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, safety, and staying updated on industry trends to deliver high-performance, energy-efficient

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering required
• EIT preferred but not required; internship experience welcomed
• Strong fundamentals in thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics
• Familiarity with BIM software and engineering tools is a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Willingness to travel up to 5% with potential overnight stays

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and analyzing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
• Interact with clients to understand needs and gather requirements
