IMEG is hiring a Mechanical Engineering New Graduate in Raleigh, NC to work with experienced engineers and consultants on mechanical systems for vertical building projects.

The role focuses on design, analysis, and project execution with emphasis on energy-efficient solutions aligned with industry standards. You will contribute to education and government projects and support multidisciplinary coordination.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, psychrometrics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics as they relate to mechanical systems.
• Experience or exposure to HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design for buildings is preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and common engineering software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in engineering analysis, design, and implementation oversight of mechanical systems for the vertical building industry.
• Assist in design and analysis of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems.
• Create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations using engineering software and tools per code and IMEG standards.
• Interact with clients to gather project requirements and communicate technical information clearly.
• Build and maintain client relationships through professional communication.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and budget adherence as part of a team.
