Responsibilities

• Establish goals, provide actionable feedback, manage performance and support professional development.
• Create a culture of accountability, urgency, collaboration, and follow-through.
• Optimize engineering workflows to improve throughput, reduce waste, and strengthen handoffs to production.
• Identify potential problems early and take action to protect quality, cost, and delivery.
• Troubleshoot complex design and production challenges with an analytical, solutions-focused approach.
• Guide engineers through concept development, 3D modeling, drawings, tolerances, and manufacturability reviews.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet customer expectations and internal quality requirements.
• Own and monitor departmental performance indicators and budgets.
• Partner with production and other teams to improve efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
