Job summary

Siemens is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Manager for the Smart Infrastructure Electronics R&D group in Peachtree Corners, GA. You will lead the mechanical engineering team across the full product lifecycle for high-volume residential, commercial, and industrial power products.

The role requires 10+ years in electromechanical product leadership, strong cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on design and verification experience. Domestic and international travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; mechanical/electrical focus.
• 10+ years in product development, engineering, or technical leadership.
• Experience leading teams and cross-functional projects.
• Familiarity with UL standards and product certification processes.
• Travel ability domestically and internationally; authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing engineering team for power products across markets.
• Oversee mechanical design through full product lifecycle: development to production support.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, test, product management, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to deliver complete solutions.
• Set priorities, budget, schedules, risks, and communication with leadership.
• Support UL/NEC/ANSI compliance and certification activities.
• Lead launches and ramp-up for high-volume products with factory teams.
