Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Peachtree Corners, GA is seeking a Mechanical Developer Engineer to lead the design and development of circuit breaker solutions. This onsite role offers hands-on opportunities to move from concept to production while meeting performance, manufacturability, and cost targets.

You will design parts using Creo, prototype assemblies, and support PLM from inception to obsolescence, collaborating with cross-functional teams and Siemens manufacturing sites.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or equivalent STEM field.
• 3+ years of electromechanical product design experience.
• Knowledge of thermal management, heat transfer, and electrical power distribution for low-voltage power products.
• Pro/Engineer CREO or SolidWorks CAD experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design parts and assemblies using Creo.
• Prototype parts and assemblies and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Support PLM from concept to production and obsolescence.
• Coordinate with Siemens manufacturing locations and address technical questions.
• Research viable alternative components when needed.
