Job summary

Middough Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead a seasoned team of engineers to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with codes and company processes.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 15+ years of experience in metals and chemicals, and strong proficiency with Plant 3D, Inventor or SolidWorks. PE license preferred; leadership and communication skills essential.

Qualifications

• Accredited Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineering license preferred.
• 15+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience in metals, midstream oil and gas, and chemicals.
• Familiarity with 3D Design platforms (Plant 3D, Inventor, SolidWorks).
• Experience in at least two areas: equipment design, ventilation/controls, material handling, piping stress, welding.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate, and direct team to complete projects on time and budget.
• Collaborate with senior management for project work and staffing.
• Coach and develop team members using best practices and training tools.
• Engage in planning, cost development, scheduling, and reviews.
• Ensure quality checks and reviews of all projects per standards.
• Provide solutions for complex or unique projects and drive technical excellence.
• Support business development activities and client proposals.
