Job summary

Middough Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to manage the full life cycle of mechanical system projects. You will design, test, and improve mechanical components using AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Plant 3D, while preparing specifications and data sheets for project scope.

The role requires 5+ years of engineering analysis and design, Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and preferred EIT/PE. Collaboration with field teams and suppliers is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of engineering analysis and design experience.
• Working knowledge of Plant 3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks and Microsoft Office required.
• Revit Mechanical experience is desired.
• Experience in Metals or Refining industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage project development from start to finish for mechanical systems.
• Design, test and improve mechanical aspects using designated company software.
• Prepare data sheets and specifications for project scope.
• Support field work and collaborate with project team and suppliers.
• Review vendor drawings and perform calculation checks.
• Engage in technical seminars and maintain professional memberships.
