Job summary

Springs Window Fashions invites motivated engineering students to join the Mechanical Engineering Internship – Summer 2027. You’ll work with the Engineering Team on New Product Development, supporting product design, testing procedures, and prototype builds, while gaining cross-functional experience and professional development.

You’ll receive hands-on training, online courses, and live sessions, with exposure to multiple functions across the organization and opportunities for career growth

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year degree, ideally with Sophomore/Junior standing.
• Mechanical Engineering major preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Join NDP project teams and support product design and testing.
• Assist in voice of customer integration and engineering calculations.
• Build and assemble prototypes and create test plans/procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during paid internship program.

Internship Overview

Springs Window Fashions is looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our Engineering Team! The Mechanical Engineering Internship provides an exciting opportunity to assist the team with project support while providing valuable work experience related to your chosen field of study. Our paid internship program is known for having in-depth, challenging project work with cross-functional teams, as well as professional development, job shadowing and other growth opportunities.

Internship Projects andResponsibilities

• New Product Development (NDP)
  • Join NDP project teams and support specific NDP projects:
    • Product design
    • Spec / Voice of Customer integration
    • Engineering calculations
    • Creation of product test plan
    • Author test procedures
    • Build and assemble prototypes
    • Functionally test product

• Mechanical Engineering Major Preferred
