Job summary

Rocket Lab Corp. in Silver Spring, MD invites applications for a Mechanical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. You will support the Space Systems Division in producing flight mechanisms for Separation Systems.

As an intern, you will work under mentorship with a fast-paced team, applying engineering and physics concepts to real hardware challenges, while attending tech talks and networking with peers and professionals.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program in an engineering, physics or math discipline and have at least one semester of school remaining post internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, and personal/team project experience is applicable)
