Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group is offering an ICT Summer Intern position in New York. You will support engineering teams, preparing design documentation and AutoCAD/Revit drawings of Electrical systems, while learning through hands-on projects and site visits.

The ideal candidate pursues a bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering, has completed at least two years, and may have internship experience. Knowledge of MEP AutoCAD, REVIT, and MS Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s Degree in Electrical engineering.
• Must have completed your second year of study.
• Previous engineering internship or co-op experience a plus.
• Knowledge in the latest version of MEP AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus.
• Basic knowledge in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in preparing design documentation.
• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Electrical systems.
• Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building Electrical systems.
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe.
• Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions
