Syska Hennessy Group in New York, NY is offering an Electrical Engineering Summer Internship to support our engineering teams on highly technical building projects. This internship provides hands-on design development, drafting, and site observation opportunities with mentorship.

The program emphasizes learning through lab-style sessions, lunch‑and‑learns, and a structured EDT pathway for future full‑time growth.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum second-year student.
• Previous engineering internship or co-op experience a plus.
• Knowledge in the latest versions of AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus.
• Basic knowledge in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in preparing design documentation.
• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Electrical systems.
• Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building Electrical systems.
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe.
• Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (pursuing)
