Job summary

IMEG Corp. is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern in Melbourne, FL for a 10–12 week Summer 2027 program. You will assist with design and oversight of electrical systems in buildings, working closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams.

This paid internship offers real project work, mentorship, and potential full-time opportunities. The team serves diverse sectors from education to commercial facilities and cleanrooms.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing BS in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years completed.
• Strong interest in electrical design and consulting.
• Proficiency with CAD/BIM tools and MS Office required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design portions of electrical systems in projects.
• Research commercially available equipment resources.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical and other teams.
• Document design decisions and progress for project records.
• Support client relations and project notebooks.
• Assist with issuing addenda and coordinating schedules.
