Job summary

Concordia University Wisconsin seeks a full-time engineering faculty member for the Mequon campus to teach and mentor undergraduates, design curricula with laboratory components, and engage in scholarship. The role reports to the Chair of Engineering and contributes to continuing accreditation efforts.

The ideal candidate will hold a doctoral degree in engineering, have a strong teaching track, and be committed to a Christian higher education environment with opportunities for research

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Engineering required or equivalent doctorate in engineering field.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred and ABET knowledge is advantageous.
• Active collaboration with industry and commitment to undergraduate education.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and evaluate undergraduate curriculum with lab components.
• Assist engineering chair with program needs as the student body grows.
• Provide instruction, evaluation and academic advising to students.
• Develop syllabi and assessment methods for courses.
• Report course and program outcomes data for accreditation.
