Job summary

GROB Systems, Inc. in Bluffton, OH is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the design team. You will work with AutoCAD and NX to detail and finish CNC machining centers, automation, and robotics projects, ensuring accurate drawings and BOMs.

You will collaborate with machinists and assemblers, produce production releases, and travel domestically and internationally as needed. A Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and strong CAD/GD&T knowledge are required; experience with ISO/DIN standards is

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• Ability to comprehend 2-D drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Finish designs and detail designs for equipment.

This position requires working with designers in the AutoCAD and NX design/detailing of CNC machining centers, automation and robotics. The ideal candidate must be motivated and want to work with others to learn how to detail and design equipment.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Ability to comprehend 2-D drawings
• Proficient use of AutoCAD (2012 and higher)
• Knowledge of mechanical design, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
• Knowledge of ISO, DIN standards and metric system
• Strong knowledge of static and dynamic mechanics
• Proficient use of NX is a plus

General Requirements
