nVent's Mechanical Engineering Co-op Program in Solon, OH gives you hands-on, real-world experience through rotations in Applications Engineering, New Product Development, Manufacturing Engineering, Labs, and Product Approvals. This paid eight-month co-op connects academic learning with practical problem solving, leadership, and Lean practices.

Eligible students must pursue an engineering degree, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and commit full-time in Solon.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in engineering, with a mechanical or mechanical engineering technology focus preferred.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Able to complete a full-time co-op for 8 months (semester and summer) in Solon, OH.
• Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Rotations across Applications Engineering, New Product Development, Manufacturing Engineering, Labs and Product Approvals.
• Perform engineering calculations and analyses; resolve design issues and ensure compliance.
• Create and maintain engineering drawings and documentation using 2D/3D modeling tools.
