Job summary

Sonoco Products Company invites motivated students to join a Co-op in Canton, Ohio. This paid 12-week program places you in Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Quality, Safety and other fields to gain hands-on experience and mentorship.

Undergraduate or graduate students in Mechanical Engineering fields will develop practical skills, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration, with housing support and relocation assistance provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or master's in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• Previous Co-op experience in Manufacturing or a similar area is preferred.
• Proven leadership experience and strong communication skills.
• Technical aptitude and ability to work across teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in hands-on projects across manufacturing, process engineering, quality and safety.
