Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering.
• Willingness to work 40 hours per week in a chemical plant environment.
• Available for a 6‑month Co‑op assignment for Spring 2027 or Fall 2027.

Responsibilities

• Help improve chemical processes by working on yield and capacity improvements, waste reduction, cycle time reduction, cost improvements, and modification or design of equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and provide recommendations to improve reliability and reduce costs.
• Support the design, installation, and start‑up of automatic process control, material handling, and distributed control systems.
• Aid implementation of the Operational Excellence program and support Lean Manufacturing site‑wide.
