Job summary

Ruveon in Louisiana is seeking an Electrical Engineering Co-op to support troubleshooting, design, installation, and start-up of electrical and automated control systems in a chemical plant setting. You will work with experienced engineers and operations staff to improve reliability, safety, and cost efficiency.

The role requires enrollment in Electrical Engineering, sophomore year completed or higher, and willingness to work in a chemical plant.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering.
• Successfully completed sophomore year or higher.
• Ability to drive to and from the work location.
• Willingness to work in a chemical plant environment.
• Available for a 6-month Co-op assignment for Spring 2027 or Fall 2027.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues and provide recommendations to improve reliability and reduce costs.
• Support the design, installation, and start-up of automatic process control systems.
• Assist engineers in developing project objectives and scope with customer requirements.
• Help ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards on all projects.
• Collaborate with production and technical staff on day-to-day activities to achieve project goals.
• Assist with procurement processes and bid evaluations.
