Job summary

VJ X-Ray LLC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop new products within a manufacturing setting. You will generate 2D and 3D designs using SolidWorks and create detailed drawings that meet metric standards. You will maintain BOMs, process docs in ERP/SharePoint, and participate in cross-functional communication with engineering, sales and production teams.

The role requires a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of manufacturing experience, with strong drawing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting detailed mechanical drawings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks for 2D and 3D designs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new products with cross-functional teams.
• Generate 2D and 3D designs using SolidWorks.
• Create and document detailed drawings meeting metric standards.
• Maintain Mechanical Engineering Change Notices.
• Create and maintain BOMs and related design documentation.
• Maintain process documentation in ERP and SharePoint.
• Coordinate with engineering, sales and production teams.
• Follow all workplace safety requirements.
