Job summary

EZ Loader Custom in Midway, AR is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to design mechanical, structural, electrical, and hydraulic systems for watercraft transport platforms. You will develop 3D models, drawings, tolerances, and change records to ensure safety, durability, and regulatory compliance.

The role involves prototype support, testing, and collaboration with manufacturing, quality, and service teams to optimize designs for cost and ease of fabrication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years in manufacturing.
• Experience with 3D modeling; SolidWorks preferred; drawing tolerancing.
• Familiar with metal forming, cutting, welding of structural steel/aluminum; MS Office.
• ERP data management, FEA, or automotive experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical, structural, electrical, and hydraulic systems for watercraft transport platforms.
• Create detailed 3D models, drawings, specs, tolerances and change records.
• Ensure safety, durability, and regulatory compliance of designs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to optimize for quality, cost, and fabrication.
• Support prototypes, testing, validation, root cause analysis, and field issues.
