Job summary

eZone staffing LLC seeks an experienced marine mechanical design professional to design, evaluate, and integrate mechanical systems for vessels. The role supports 2D/3D design, ensures regulatory compliance, and participates in inspections both on new builds and refurbishments.

The candidate should have eight+ years in maritime design, ABET-accredited degree, and EIT/PE considerations. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, and piping software is preferred, with travel required to perform inspections.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in maritime industry providing mechanical design support.
• ABET-accredited bachelor's degree in engineering.
• EIT certification and/or PE licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, and integrate mechanical systems for marine vessels and support 2D/3D design processes.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions for vessel systems.
• Prepare project documentation: specs, schematics, calculations, reports, progress updates.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and classification society requirements; support audits.
