Job summary

Kinetics Noise Control in Dublin, OH is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support our Application Engineering team. This role concentrates on vibration isolation systems and engineered supports for commercial and industrial applications.

The candidate will produce submittals and manufacturing drawings, perform seismic and wind analysis, and conduct FEA. Collaboration with internal teams and customers is essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Structural Engineering or related
• 3+ years of mechanical design/structural frames experience
• Experience with Autodesk tools, SolidWorks Simulation or FEA, Excel, and automation tools
• Proven track record producing engineering calculations and technical reports

Responsibilities

• Design and detail vibration isolation systems and supports
• Produce submittals and manufacturing drawings
• Perform seismic and wind load calculations
• Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) with SolidWorks or similar
• Collaborate with Sales, PM, Manufacturing, and Field teams
• Support BIM coordination for MEP systems
• Review project docs and define engineering scope
