Job summary

Kinetics Noise Control is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Dublin, OH to support our Application Engineering team. You will develop vibration isolation systems, curbs, frames, and bases, and perform seismic and wind analysis with internal teams and customers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Structural Engineering and 3+ years of mechanical design experience, with hands-on design and strong analytical skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3+ years in mechanical design, structural frames, or product design.
• Proven experience with Autodesk tools and FEA (SolidWorks Simulation or similar).

Responsibilities

• Design and detail distribution system supports, anchors, and vibration isolation systems.
• Develop submittals and manufacturing drawings for vibration isolation components.
• Perform seismic and wind load calculations and write engineering reports.
• Conduct FEA analysis using SolidWorks Simulation or equivalent.
• Model analytically and develop custom solutions per project requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales, PM, Manufacturing, and Field Teams to ensure practicality.
• Support Revit/BIM coordination for MEP systems and supports.
• Review project documentation and define engineering scope inputs.
• Provide technical support for field installations and fabrication issues.
• Generate drawings based on project sales requirements.
• Contribute to improving engineering tools and workflows.
