Job summary

Kinetics Noise Control, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support our Application Engineering team in Dublin, OH.

You will develop vibration isolation systems, curbs, and bases, and produce submittals and manufacturing drawings while performing seismic and wind analyses. The role requires hands-on design experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to solve complex engineering challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years in mechanical design, structural frames, or product design.
• Experience with Autodesk tools and SolidWorks Simulation/FEA.
• Proven ability to produce engineering calculations and technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Design and detail distribution system supports, restraints, anchors, and vibration isolation systems.
• Develop submittals and manufacturing drawings for vibration isolation components.
• Perform seismic and wind load calculations and prepare reports.
• Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) using SolidWorks Simulation or similar tools.
• Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, Manufacturing, and Field Teams.
• Support Revit/BIM coordination for MEP systems and engineered supports.
• Review project documentation and define engineering scope requirements.
• Provide technical support for field installations and customer inquiries.
