Pay rate range - $80/hr. to $83/hr. on W2
4 Openings
Shifts: One of each assigned to Front Half Days (Su-W, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm), Front Half Nights (Su-W, 5:00 pm - 3:30 am), Back Half Days (W-Sa, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm), Back Half Nights (W-Sa, 5:00 pm - 3:30 am).

Must Have
Environmental Test experience with equipment (vibration, thermal, vacuum), automation tools (LabVIEW, Python).

REQUIRED SKILLS
Years of Experience: 3 to 5 Years
Degree or Certification: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, materials science, or related discipline.

Role Overview
As a Manufacturing Test Engineer in our client's Environmental Test Lab, you will own testing processes and equipment critical to satellite production. Your responsibilities include process improvement and troubleshooting to ensure quality, efficiency, and scalability of lab operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Ownership: Manage environmental test equipment (Thermal, TVAC, Vibe, Shock, HASS), including configurations, maintenance, and improvements. Provide technical leadership during troubleshooting and manage relationships with third-party vendors.
• Process Development: Establish standardized testing procedures and work instructions for technicians.
• Rate Improvement: Analyze data to validate test procedures and lead projects to increase throughput, reduce cycle times, and improve first-pass yield.
• Automation Troubleshooting: Read and troubleshoot simple errors in LabVIEW and Python code, understand control loops, and communicate failures effectively.
• Manufacturing Execution System Management: Define data artifacts in MES/ERP, develop system standards for test execution and non-conformance handling.
• Training: Develop and deliver technician training on equipment operation and testing procedures.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering or science discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or test engineering within aerospace or similar industry.
• Experience with environmental testing equipment (vibration, thermal, vacuum).

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in test automation tools (LabVIEW, Python).
• Experience developing and improving manufacturing processes.
