Job summary

Qualifications

• BSME required.
• 2–5 years in new product development engineering.
• 2+ years of Creo or similar 3D CAD experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and development for new products, including control panels and switchboards.
• Develop innovative design concepts using Creo or similar 3D CAD software.
• Create multiple design concepts and perform trade-off studies based on performance, cost, manufacturability, and requirements.
• Apply DFM and DFA principles throughout the development process.
• Design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies.
• Plan and manage engineering projects with scope, schedules, costs, milestones, and completion dates.
• Develop physical prototypes to evaluate design feasibility and performance.
• Create and execute test plans and use results to validate and improve designs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and cross-functional teams to move projects from concept through production.
• Create detailed part drawings, material BOMs, and ECNs.
