Job summary

New Way Trucks is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for our Booneville, MS plant, on-site. You will design and validate mechanical systems using CAD tools, create detailed drawings, and collaborate with manufacturing to optimize processes and ensure manufacturability.

The role requires a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, experience with SolidWorks, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams to meet performance goals.

Qualifications

  • B.S Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of fabrication, welding, hydraulics, pneumatic and electrical circuit design is a plus.
  • Experience using SolidWorks and/or similar 3D CAD software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Ability to analyze complex functions, procedures and problems to find creative, logical and effective solutions.
  • Ability to understand client needs, identify root causes of problems and implement pragmatic solutions.

Responsibilities

New Way Trucks is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Booneville, MS manufacturing team. This position is responsible for the design, development, testing, and implementation of mechanical systems and components. This role involves applying engineering principles to solve technical problems, improve manufacturing processes, and ensure product quality and performance.

Your Role in our Mission:
