Allegion is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Cincinnati, OH to join a small, highly engaged team within a global organization. You will define mechanical system requirements, develop 3D models and drawings, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and product performance.

The role emphasizes applying FMEA, RCA, GD&T, and tolerance stack analysis, with hands-on design leadership and collaboration across brands.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 3+ years designing, developing, implementing, and integrating mechanical systems.
• Experience with cross-functional design processes and manufacturing interaction.

Responsibilities

• Define mechanical system requirements and specifications to meet stakeholder needs.
• Use FMEA, RCA, GD&T, and tolerance analysis to mitigate risks early in design.
• Develop design documentation, 3D models, drawings, and manufacturing/testing instructions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, and other brands to align design decisions.
• Lead design reviews, supplier reviews, and change management activities.
