Job summary

ITERRA is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design rugged enclosures for field-deployed sensors. You will own the enclosure, perform thermal/structural analysis, and ensure waterproofing and environmental readiness for harsh conditions.

Requirements include a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and 3–6 years of hardware design, with hands-on experience in enclosure development and field testing. Onsite in Hatillo, Puerto Rico, with opportunities for field deployments.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering is required or equivalent.
• Three to six years of product design experience for outdoor hardware.
• Hands-on work and field-ready enclosure development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the enclosure design from bench to field deployment.
• Perform thermal and structural analysis, both hand calculations and simulations.
• Ensure waterproofing, IP ratings, and MIL-STD-810 alignment for fielded parts.
