You will design rugged enclosures and thermal management systems for embedded products, owning designs from concept through production and collaborating with electrical, firmware, and manufacturing engineers to deliver reliable hardware.

The role emphasizes hands-on design, validation, and production readiness for demanding environments, with opportunities to influence product development from early prototypes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of mechanical product design experience.
• Experience with production hardware and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to pass a federal background check.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical enclosures for rugged embedded systems.
• Develop active and passive thermal management solutions.
• Design for environmental sealing (IP67, IP67+, NEMA 4).
• Create and maintain production CAD models, drawings, and documentation.
• Perform FEA to validate structural and thermal designs.
• Support mechanical validation testing and production transition.
