Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer for our Mill. This role can be classified as Mechanical Reliability Engineer or Mechanical Project Engineer depending on mill needs.

You will support safety, environmental, quality, and reliability objectives across mechanical maintenance and capital projects. You will collaborate with maintenance, operations, engineering, purchasing, and suppliers to deliver safe, on-time, on-budget projects.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 0-4 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have valid driver's license.
• Experience using AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Project.

Responsabilidades

• Work safely and support mill safety, environmental, quality, and reliability expectations across assigned mechanical maintenance areas.
• Provide technical support to maintenance, operations, engineering, and contractors to resolve mechanical equipment and reliability issues.
• Develop, manage, and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs, equipment tracking, rebuild programs, spare parts planning, and maintenance documentation.
• Support daily, monthly, and annual outage work through planning, coordination, troubleshooting, training, and contractor management.
• Use root cause failure analysis, equipment history, maintenance data, and cost information to reduce downtime, improve planning, and increase equipment reliability.
• Coordinate and manage capital projects for engineering and maintenance departments from scope development through completion.
