Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a Mechanical Engineer at our Tomahawk, WI mill. The role may be titled Mechanical Reliability Engineer or Mechanical Project Engineer depending on mill need.

Responsibilities span safety, reliability, and project execution in mechanical maintenance and project work. Starting salary ranges from $86,000 to $90,000 with benefits including vacation, holidays, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 0-4 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience using AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Project.

Responsibilities

• Support mill safety, environmental, quality, and reliability expectations across mechanical maintenance areas.
• Provide technical support to maintenance, operations, engineering, and contractors to resolve issues.
• Develop, manage, and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs, equipment tracking, and maintenance documentation.
• Support outages with planning, coordination, troubleshooting, training, and contractor management.
• Use root cause analysis and data to reduce downtime and improve reliability.

Education

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology or related field
